The Cardinals is a professional basketball team representing Hampton Roads, Virginia in the Eastern Basketball Alliance (EBA). The EBA is the fastest growing professional sports league in North America with teams in major U.S markets including Washington, DC and New York City.

The team was form in 2008 to provide the players of the southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina regions a venue to showcase their talent and skills to the professional basketball community world wide. The current team includes ex-collegiate players from Division I, II and III as well as experienced professionals. The parent organization, HOOP FOR DREAMS Sports Management is based in Portsmouth, Virginia and is dedicated to betterment of the entire Hampton Roads community.

We are a community based professional basketball franchise developed to give men a chance to develope ther basketball talents while instilling hard work, discipline and independence to become leaders in the community and world .We welcome all children to free basketball camps in the spring as well as big brother mentoring.

Our league is registered as a non-profit organization. We appreciate the generous support of the community, local merchants, and civic organizations.
